This session will share case studies, one large and one small, on how redevelopment e orts resulted in more vibrant and livable communities. How they did it, through partnerships, incentives, and initiatives, is the focus of each case study. Attendees will learn about practical and readily available tools from experts in engineering, planning and economic development.

Cyndi Jantomaso has nearly 8 years of professional economic development experience in business development ranging from Deputy Director to Director to President with the Haines City Economic Development Council.
Born and raised in Plymouth County, Massachusetts attending Massasoit Community College and Bridgewater State University and has been a Florida resident since 1990. Professional background began in 1992 in Transactional Law as a Paralegal, moving into a Real Estate career and in 2011 organically landed a career in Economic Development. Completed the certification requirement courses through the International Economic Development Council. Leader in the community and involved in various organizations with the State, County and City Economic Development organizations. Graduate of Haines City Leadership II, graduate of the Orlando Leadership Class 84’, graduate of the Leadership Polk Class VIII. Appointed by Polk County Board of County Commission for a second term to the NE Polk County Roadway Advisory Committee; Board of Director on the Haines City Chamber of Commerce; Past Board of Director on the Florida Economic Development Council; Polk State Corporate College Advisory Board and Board of Trustee of Heart of Florida Regional Medical Center.
