Planner II: Provide advanced professional and lead analysis as case Planner for Planning related activities, strategic initiatives and development review including the County’s Comprehensive Plan, Zoning, and Land Development Codes and amendments, Critical Area Planning studies, revitalization/redevelopment plans, economic development, demographics, impact fees, Developments of Regional Impact, Developments of Critical Concerns and other special projects as assigned, and to present factual findings and reports for projects to the public, Planning Commission, other advisory boards and the Sarasota County Commission.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Planning, Land Use, Geography or related field; minimum of four years related professional planning experience.
