The City of Gainesville is seeking a qualified and experienced Operations Coordinator to join the Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) team to assist with maximizing the CRA’s impact on improving the community’s quality of life. The Operations Coordinator will provide internal and external support related to the daily operational activities of the CRA and its community initiatives, programs and stakeholders.
The Gainesville CRA staff includes professionals from many backgrounds, educations and experiences. This diversity allows the CRA to solve problems with a holistic perspective; the team works much like a “start-up” company, where everyone works together to achieve the organization’s mission, despite their expertise. The ideal candidate will have a background in administrative or operational support, and a minimum of 5 years of experience working with a high- performing team in fields such as, but not limited to, government, redevelopment, real estate, property management or a construction-related field. Salary will be commensurate with education and/or experience.
To qualify for this position you must have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and; five (5) years of progressively responsible administrative or operational support or property management .
Work experience in a government agency, real estate or property management office or construction-related company is preferred
CERTIFICATIONS OR LICENSES
License – Valid Florida Driver License required within 30 days of appointment and at all times while employed in this classification.
Certifications – Certified Property Manager Certification is preferred. Notary Public required within one year from date of appointment.
