The City of New Smyrna Beach is accepting applications for a Director of Development Services and Environmental Management.

This position is highly responsible for managerial and administrative work, planning, organizing and directing the Building, Planning and Engineering Departments under the administrative direction of the City Manager. Supervises department directors, interprets and enforces ordinances, policy and work procedures.  Engages in problem solving decision making by giving direction.  Assists the City Manager in preparation of plans, amendments, consistency determinations and other related documents.
