Job Description
This is a full-time position that is under the general direction and guidance of the Community Redevelopment Agency Executive Director. This position is responsible for managerial and administrative work in planning, organizing, supporting, and executing economic development and redevelopment initiatives within the Community Redevelopment Area and City at large. Work includes leading special projects and redevelopment activities, including efforts focused on the retention and expansion of existing businesses and efforts to bring in targeted businesses to the City. The Economic Development Manager coordinates and collaborates with CRA and City staff, developers, County and City agencies, local, regional and national agencies and organizations. This is highly professional hands-on, technical and visible work leading economic development efforts.
