Starting Salary Range: $36,000 – $42,000 based on experience.
Curry Ford West Market Street District in Orlando is seeking an energetic and creative professional to become their Executive Director. The position requires strong confidence, reliable organizational skills, dependable self-motivation, and the ability to be a self-starter who meets short-term and long-term goals.
The primary role of the Executive Director is to fundraise through memberships and donations by promoting Curry Ford West to merchants, businesses, residents and all other stakeholders within the District through community events marketing campaigns and personal relationships.
Additionally, the Executive Director must effectively recruit, train and direct a strong, reliable volunteer base.
Other skills include being able to operate Quickbooks, to provide financial reports, as well as CRM software and other relevant applications to provide information as requested by the Board of Directors.
The Executive Director reports directly to the Curry Ford West Board of Directors and shall attend all Board meetings, committee meetings, training classes and other scheduled events.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Public Administration orrelevant entrepreneurial or management experience.
- Minimum of one-year related experience in economic development, community development, organizational development, nonprofit management or small business management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, Quickbooks, Constant Contact, Social Media and E-mail marketing.
