Senior Redevelopment Project Manager – City of Cedar Park, Texas

Located just 17 miles from downtown Austin, Cedar Park, Texas, is ideally situated on the edge of the beautiful Texas Hill Country and Central Texas Highland Lakes Region. It covers 33 square miles, with most of the City located in Williamson County and a portion in Travis County. Having grown by more than 400% in the last decade, Cedar Park is now the third largest city in the Austin area with more than 70,000 residents and one of the fastest growing cities in the U.S.  Cedar Park is a home rule municipality operating under a council-manager form of government. The City has a total fiscal year budget of $133 million and employs a staff of 485.

The Senior Redevelopment Project Manager will perform highly responsible managerial work involving assessing, estimating, developing, coordinating, managing, planning, and oversight of redevelopment and revitalization projects, with an initial focus on the implementation and completion of the various Bell Boulevard Redevelopment Project elements. The selected candidate should hold a bachelor’s degree in business administration, public administration, urban planning, real estate, or related field and must have at least five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in redevelopment, community development, or construction or project management. Experience with large-scale redevelopment projects is strongly preferred. An equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities will be considered.  The salary range for this position is $90,000-$100,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
