The Davie Community Redevelopment Agency invites interested parties to submit qualifications for the redevelopment of property known as the Downtown Center. This 24-acre site is owned by the Town of Davie and the Davie CRA. A primary focus of the CRA has been to create a Western Themed Downtown Center that will serve as an activated central gathering place for residents and visitors alike. A major asset of the downtown is the 72,000-square foot Bergeron Rodeo grounds, which hosts over 175 events a year and can hold approximately 5,000 people in the stands and another 2,000 on the arena floor. The Western Theme overlay district in the downtown gives Davie a unique character and is the only Town of its kind in Florida. The Town is also home to 7 higher education institutions, making the Town an ideal candidate for the enhancement of an activated Downtown Center that establishes a diverse entertainment hub for students.
The deadline to submit responses is 2:00 PM EST on July 14, 2017. Questions regarding this solicitation shall be submitted in writing to bids@davie-fl.gov no later than 5:00 PM on June 23, 2017.
